I have a 4” open array scanner that makes a lot of noise while operating. Am I able to grease the bearings on this unit? Thanks Ray

Such noise would typically be indicative of a gearbox or bearing surface which is wearing or has become worn. Unfortunately, these items are not designed to be serviced by product owners and it would be recommended that an open array pedestal which is experiencing such issues be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced. That said, please be aware that Raymarine can only provide parts and service for pedestals having an Ethernet communications interface (i.e. HD Open Array Pedestals, SuperHD Open Array Pedestals, and Magnum Open Array Pedestals).
