[DG] [DG11] i70s not showing AIS

Hi,
My i70s doesn't show AIS ships. In the upper left corner it says: AIS off.
I have an AIS device that is connected to the STNG backbone.
I see that the device is sending PGN 129794 and 129038 data on the STNG backbone.
1. Any clue why my i70s doesn't show the data?

I assume that it will show all AIS transponders within 8 miles as set up. I read the faq from which i understand that AIS targets which i understand are on crash course need to send additional additional (as well as my gps needs to send that data as well, as it doesn). In first instance i am directly interested in AIS target, but just to show AIS data).

2. When will the AIS off message dissapear? When the i70s receives the right data? or is there something i should set on the i70s or the AIS receiver?

3. What data (PGNs) does the i70s need to show AIS transponders from my AIS receiver?

What model of AIS is being used?

Do you have GPS position data in the system, please describe the complete system and how it is interconnected.

The PGN received by the i70 is 129038 which only reads class A AIS data, we do not read 129794 - so this is likely why the i70 is not reading from the 3rd party AIS.

Hi,
I am using a raspberry Pi with Moitessier HAT that provides GPS and AIS signals (https://www.rooco.eu/products/moitessier...enplotter/)

The Raspberry Pi is connected the the STNG network using a CAN-USB interface.

I just figured out that the CAN-USB interface prevents the sending of most PGN's. It needs to configure to send PGN 129038. Will check that first and will report back later.

This solved the problem.
I had to enable sending of PGN 129038 in the CAN-USB interface.
