[CA11] Transducer Clarification
I have purchased an i70 and will be replacing both separate speed and depth transducers.

I understand I will need the iTC-5 unit to work with i70, and am looking at the ST60/290 speed transducer and either the P19 or CPT-S as a depth.

Plan being when I upgrade the existing plotter I already have a transducer that will provide sonar readings to the plotter if going down the CPT-S route.

Would this set up work with just the i70 in the meantime?

RE: [CA11] Transducer Clarification
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Tillysstar,

CPT-S, DownVision, RealVision, and CHIRP transducers cannot be interfaced directly to depth instruments, an iTC-5, or to a depth instrument pod. It is however possible for an instrument which is capable of reporting depth data to be interfaced to a MFD which has in turn been interfaced to a CPT-S, DownVision, RealVision, and CHIRP transducer. When so interfaced, the instrument may report depth determined by the MFD.

RE: [CA11] Transducer Clarification
Thanks for the info Chuck,

I'll stick with the standard depth & speed transducers, with iTC-5 to convert signal for the i70
