[CA11] Realvision 3D - loss of bottom
Hello,

We have recently installed Real Vision 3D with the Port/Starboard sensors with the 20 degree dead rise.

We have not used it a lot yet, but initial tests seemed ok, and we could see the bottom return in RV3D.

During the weekend several times I could not get a bottom return on the RV3D - however it was returning fish, and the sonar mode was also functioning clearly.

This was in about 10m of water. I tried both auto and manually adjusting the gain and surface clutter settings, but to no avail.

What steps can I take to trouble shoot this?

Thanks,

Watsala

Welcome back to the Raymarine Forum watsala,

Does the problem occur when operating at trolling speeds? If so, then please overlay the Fishfinder application with the Depth and SOG data items. Please take some photos/screenshots of the Fishinder application's screen attach them to this thread for further analysis.
