Multiple GPS to e165 MFD via NMEA 0183
Is there a problem or conflict if 2 GPS sources were connected to the same e165MFD?

One source would have AIS and GPS combined via NMEA 0183 at 38400 baud connected to one of the 0183 NMEA input ports on the 165MFD, the source would have a GPS via NMEA 0183 at 4800 baud connected to the other 0183 NMEA input port on the 165MFD.

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Lazybones,

Raymarine MFD's are designed to support multiple sources of any specific type of data (GPS, wind, depth, speed, etc.). When more than one such type of data has been interfaced to the system, then it is recommended that the MFD's Data Sources feature (HOME->SET-UP->SYSTEM SETTINGS->DATA SOURCES) be used to manually specify which source of data will be used by the system for each type of data having more than one source.
