e Series Data Source Selection using E22158 Seatalk Converter
This post is a continuation of the post I started on the old forum at this link where I reported that the e97 and e125 MFD operating with Lighthouse V15 software would not allow manual selection of a data source on the Seatalk NG/ NMEA 2000 bus.

It turns out that the converter needed a software update to version 2.01. I was unable to get the MFD to recognize that the converter needed a software update and was unable to manually push it. I returned the converter to Raymarine and it was updated to the latest V2.01 software at no charge.

I am happy to report that this fixed the MDS problem and can now select the electronic compass I desire to use, rather than the compass on the S1G autopilot. Here is my system interconnection diagram for those interested. The system successfully integrates Raymarine, Nexus, Garmin, B&G and Standard Horizon products.
