fuse requirement
Chuck , I have a E120 with a 5S open array radar . The E120 manual says to refer to scanner handbook for fuse size for the display . I could not find that info there . Could you tell me how many amp fuse I should use ? Thanks , Jim

RE: fuse requirement
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Jim,

While the C/E-Series MFDs were designed to supply power to radomes, then were not designed to power open array pedestal. The latter should be powered by a dedicated power circuit which has been protected with a 20A fuse or 15A breaker when powered by a 12V system. Should the MFD not be interfaced to a radome, then its power circuit may be protected with a 6.3A fuse or 5A breaker.
