I am confident that the autopilot was set to "Track" mode as this "Track" mode was the only prompt offered by the MFD after setting the MFD to "go to waypoint."

However, this entire issue may be moot at this point based on the following.
While the boat was sitting on the trailer, a new waypoint was created approximately 1 nm straight ahead of the boat. The MFD's "go to waypoint" feature was activated resulting in the same prompt to start autopilot in "Track" mode.

Acknowledging this test is woefully deficient from a water test, the MFD showed that the autopilot would turn 2 degrees if set to "Track" mode. In contrast, the MFD during the original issue showed the autopilot would turn 180 degrees, which it did.

This being said and assuming the original issue resulted from operator error, let's assume this issue is resolved.

If anymore information is discovered or a water test reveals there really is an issue, I will provide another reply.
