RE: AXIOM Pro RayNet
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Jon,
Q1. With one display powered Off, is the Raynet information connected to the second Raynet connection on the "Off" display, still bridged to the display that is powered ON? A1. Negative. Should this be an operational constraint, then it would be recommended that a HS5 RayNet Network Switch be installed within the system. After doing so, compatible each device having an Ethernet Network (RayNet / SeaTalkhs) interface would be connected via a single cable to the HS5 RayNet Network Switch. Should the system feature SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 devices, then you may want to additionally consider interfacing the second MFD as a spur to the system's SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 backbone. |
