(DG) Q42C - To gimbal or not?
Hi All,

I want to purchase a A24C for my 40 foot yacht. I plan to mount it on the mast, but not too high up as I am probably more interested in close objects than trying to get maximum range.

I also am wondering whether gimballed is recommended or not?

We do sail across the pacific, and heeling over at 20 degree's is not unusual.
