Thank you for your response The Kit is supplied with a cable that plugs into the yellow socket on the converter, the other end of the wire is bare cables - because most VHF radios will also have an NMEA cable with bare ends - you then simply connect the appropriate colours to each other using a connector block. It really is the easiest least cost way of doing this. The alternative is to run cables to the AIS 650, identify the NMEA 0183 4800 baud output and connect this tothe NMEA for the radio. regards |
