Welcome to their Raymarine Forum epc7405,
Your system is functioning properly. The equipment is not designed to display your vessel as an AIS target ... only other vessel reporting AIS data will be displayed. Like most Class B AIS transceivers, the AIS700, as well as the AIS650 and AIS500 Class B AIS transceivers which preceded the AIS700, is not designed to be programmed with your vessel's destination data. Such data is included within the transmissions of Class A AIS transceivers such as the AIS950. |
