Welcome the Raymarine Forum cgold,
The reported symptom may occur if the autopilot detects excessive (>35 degrees) of rudder deflection when it is initially powered ON. The issue would typically be corrected by switching OFF the circuit supplying power to the autopilot, centering the rudder, and then switching ON the circuit supplying power to the autopilot. Should this not address the problem, then switch OFF the circuit supplying power to the autopilot, disconnect the rudder reference transducer, switch ON the circuit supplying power to the autopilot, and verify whether the autopilot control head is reporting rudder deflection. |
