Thank you for your post.

The i70 is NMEA2000 only, to network the ST1000 with the i70 you will require the ST1 to STng convertor to enable them both to communicate to each other conncected on a small backbone. You cannot connect the ST1000 directly to the iTC-5 as the ST1000 is ST1 or NMEA0183 and the i70 is NMEA2000.

The convertor (part no E22158) will convert ST1 data to STng (NMEA2000) data, please find further information here regarding the seatalk convertor.
