Creating fishfinder features within a system of MFDs running LightHouse 3 SW

Raymarine's Axiom/Axiom Pro/Axiom XL MFDs operating with the latest LightHouse 3 software update are designed to support multiple fishfinder sounding devices within the system. Accordingly, it is possible for a single Axiom/Axiom Pro/Axiom XL MFD to support one or all of the following types of fishfinder technology when properly accessorized:
- 600W ClearPulse 50/200kHz Fishfinder Sounding
- 600' CHIRP/DownVision Fishfinder Sounding
- 1kW ClearPulse 50/200kHz Fishfinder Sounding
- SideVision Fishfinder Sounding
- High Power CHIRP Sounding
- RealVisionâ„¢ 3D Sounding

No fishfinding circuitry need be included within the Axiom / Axiom Pro / Axiom XL MFD's design to support the above listed fishfinding sonar features. However, the type of transducer(s) which will be installed along with the fishfinding product which the MFD will be interfaced to will in turn determine the type of fishfinder sonar imaging which will be supported. Accordingly, should one desire to add fishfinder features to Axiom / Axiom Pro / Axiom XL MFD's lacking corresponding internal fishfinder sonar circuitry, then one may do so by interfacing the MFD via Ethernet communications to any of the following products:

- an Axiom DV MFD which has been interfaced to
----- a compatible DownVision or CPT-S fishfinder transducer or
----- has been adapted for use with a compatible 50kHz/200kHz fishfinder transducer.

- an Axiom RV MFD which has been interfaced to
----- a compatible RealVisionâ„¢ 3D fishfinder transducer, or
----- has been adapted for use with a compatible DownVision or CPT-S fishfinder transducer, or
----- has been adapted for use with a compatible 50kHz/200kHz fishfinder transducer.

- an Axiom Pro S MFD which in turn has been interfaced to a compatible CPT-S fishfinder transducer.

- an Axiom Pro RVX MFD which has been interfaced to
----- a compatible RealVisionâ„¢ 3D fishfinder transducer, or
----- a compatible high power CHIRP transducer(s), or
----- has been adapted for use with a compatible DownVision or CPT-S fishfinder transducer, or
----- has been adapted for use with a compatible 50kHz/200kHz fishfinder transducer.

- an eSx7 MFD which in turn has in turn been interfaced to a compatible 50kHz/200kHz fishfinder transducer ... this option is only supported through LH3 v3.11.x.

- an eSx8 MFD which in turn has in turn been interfaced to a compatible DownVision or CPT-S fishfinder transducer ... this option is only supported through LH3 v3.11.x.

- a CP370 50kHz/200kHz Fishfinder Sounder Module which has in turn been interfaced to a compatible 50kHz/200kHz fishfinder transducer

- a CP470, CP570, or CP450C (retired) High Power CHIRP Fishfinder Sounder Module, which in turn has been interfaced to a compatible high power CHIRP transducer(s)

- a CP100 DownVision Sounder Module which in turn has in turn been interfaced to a compatible DownVision or CPT-S fishfinder transducer

- a CP200 SideVision Sounder Module which in turn has been interfaced to a CPT-200 SideVision Transducer. As this feature is designed to support SideVision fishfinder imaging, depth data is not produced by this product.

- a RVX-1000 RealVisionâ„¢ 3D Sounder Module, which has been interfaced to
----- a compatible RealVisionâ„¢ 3D fishfinder transducer, or
----- a compatible high power CHIRP transducer(s), or
----- has been adapted for use with a compatible DownVision or CPT-S fishfinder transducer, or
----- has been adapted for use with a compatible 50kHz/200kHz fishfinder transducer.

NOTE: It is not possible to utilize an instrument depth transducer (analog, SeaTalkng, or NMEA 0183/NMEA 2000 Smart Transducer) to support the fishfinder features of a MFD.
