It is recommended that the VHF antenna be disconnected from the VHF radio for testing. Should static not be heard when the squelch is reduced to its minimum setting and should static continue to be heard when the squelch is increased to it maximum setting, then it would appear that the VHF radio's receiver circuitry has suffered a failure necessitating that it be replaced, as Raymarine can no longer service this product. The currently manufactured Ray50 would be considered to be the replacement for the Ray48.

Se recomienda que la antena VHF se desconecte de la radio VHF para realizar pruebas.
