There's a reason that the B260 was installed forward of the first step ... to permit operation at speeds which would prevent transducers located aft of the steps to be able to maintain bottom. While operating at slow trolling speed, the RV200 may be able to maintain bottom, but it would not be possible to indicate what speed may begin to lose bottom contact due to aeration resulting form the hulls step located forward of the transducer.
