RE: cpt 120 transducer
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Mike,
Should a transducer be designed for use with a fairing/mounting block, then it is important to ensure that this fairing/mounting not only installed, but has been installed properly to ensure that - the transducer's transmitted energy will be directed downward and perpendicular to the water's surface, and that - the flow of water across the face of the transducer is not aerated, as would happen when a fast moving flow of water interacts with the relatively blunt leading edge of the transducer. |
