RE: Raystar 125 to NMEA 2000
Travis,

I would estimate that the cost of a SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 GPS Sensor (ex. Raystar 150 GPS Sensor, etc.) will be within $100 - $200 of the cost of adapting the Raystar 125 GPS Sensor (via a SeaTalk to SeaTalkng Converter). Things to consider when making the decision would include, but not necessarily be limited to:
- cost,
- installation time associated with mounting a new GPS sensor and chasing its cable,
- enhanced GPS performance associated with technological improvements in GPS sensor design since the Raystar 125 GPS Sensor was introduced (2005).
