RE: [CA11] Chartplotter Compatibility
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Donzii150,

Both Axiom and Axiom Pro MFDs are compatible RD418D radome and SPX autopilot. Please additionally note that the DSM30/300 fishfinder sounder modules are not officially supported for use with Axiom/Axiom Pro/Axiom XL systems. Specifically, these systems have not been designed for use with nor officially tested with DSMs. However, anecdotal feedback from customers has indicated no issues thus far in using an operational DSM30/300 with Axiom/Axiom Pro/Axiom XL systems. Accordingly, should your DSM300 be operational, then you might want to try it out with the new Axiom or Axiom Pro system before either:
- replacing it with a CP370 fishfinder sounder module. In such cases, either an Axiom 12 (cost savings) or Axiom RV 12 MFD may be installed; or
- adapting the transducer to be mated to the Axiom DV, Axiom RV, or Axiom Pro RVX Transducer socket.

Please click here to view a FAQ addressing replacement of an E-Series Classic MFD with an Axiom MFD. If electing this option, then an Axiom 9 DV or Axiom 9 RV MFD would be recommended form the standpoint of similar MFD size to the E80 and if seeking to adapt the currently installed fishfinder transducer. Otherwise and Axiom 9 MFD may be used.

If electing this option, then an Axiom Pro 9 RVX MFD would be recommended form the standpoint of similar MFD size to the E80 and if seeking to adapt the currently installed fishfinder transducer. Otherwise and Axiom Pro 9 S MFD may be used.
