Welcome to the Raymarine Forum roriol,

As the manual for the 506 indicated that it may or may not have a NMEA 2000 communications interface, it is recommended that ICOM America's Support Team be contacted to determine whether you IC-506 features a NMEA 2000 communications port, whether the port features a DeviceNet Micro-C plug/socket, and to specify the gender of its NMEA 2000 plug/socket. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing how to interface third party devices having a NMEA 2000 communications interface to a SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 backbone which has been constructed from SeaTalkng networking components.
