Best Way to Speed up Wheel Pilot Response

EV-1 with AC 100 and P70 on a 38-foot sloop.

I would like to set a quicker response for course change commands.

That is, a more immediate turn when altering course in harbor to avoid other boats.

Is that best controlled by "rudder hard over time"?

That setting has a scale in "Seconds" in which a higher number of seconds makes for a "faster" turn (which seems backwards)." Default is 5. I am set currently at 15.

What is the best way to increase speed of turn at low speeds (max boat speed is 7 knots).

The settings "Cruise" "Leisure" and "Performance" reflect speed of correction, not the speed of lock-to-lock.
