Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Ray,

Bronze thru-hulls are recommended for use with wooden hulls. The hull's deadrise in the location where the transducer will be installed will need to be measured. A RV-212 transducer pair would be recommended for deadrise angles from 1Â° to 12Â°. The RV-220 transducer pair would be recommended for deadrise angles from 13Â° to 20Â°.
