Factory Reset procedure for A/C/E-Series Classic MFDs

Raymarine's Product Support Team may advise to a Factory Reset be performed to restore the MFD to its factory settings or halt a MFD from cyclically rebooting. Please note that a Factory Reset operation will erase any waypoint, route, or track data which is stored within the MFD's memory. Accordingly, should one have any valuable waypoint, route, or track data which is stored within the MFD's memory, then this data should be backed up to one's chart card or to a CF memory card.

The following procedure will reset an A/C/E-Series Classic MFD back to its factory settings:

1) Switch the MFD OFF (alternatively switch the circuit supplying power to the MFD OFF)

2) Hold the MFD's left most function key pressed while switching the MFD ON (alternatively switch the circuit supplying power to the MFD OFF)

3) Continue holding the MFD's left most function key press until the MFD completes the countdown to Factory Reset ... then release the function key
