Welcome to the Raymarine Forum hugoman42,

Should the autopilot have been a ST4000+/ST5000+, then it would have been recommended that a SeaTalk to SeaTalkng Converter Kit be used for this purpose. However, as ST4000/ST5000 are not supported for use with the SeaTalk to SeaTalkng Converter Kit, it would be recommended that the A57D likewise be interfaced via NMEA 0183 to the ST4000.
