e120 does not recognize radar scanner
Hello,
This MFD does not recognize the scanner at all, everything else works fine, the radar had been working up until a few weeks ago. When going to the radar screen the following message is displayed: "No Data Source" There is 12 vdc at the scanner. The attached picture show the firmware and software loaded on the unit. Is it possible it just needs a software update? Thanks |

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum GWB,
Based upon the supplied photo, your MFD appears to be running the very first version of software for the E-Series Classic MFDs. It is recommended that its software be updated with the latest available Raymarine product software update, that a Factory Reset then be performed, that the vessel be connected to shore power, that its batteries be permitted to reach full charge, and then while still connect to shore power that the radar be tested again. Should the problem persist, then please specify the model/part number of the radome or open array radar pedestal which has been interfaced to the MFD. |
