[CA] [CA11] AIS 700 Class B cant see my own vessel

I recently installed the AIS 700 (programed by a dealer) using a Saetalkng connection. The status light on the AIS 700 Class B is GREEN.

On my E127 I see many boats and can read their data but I do not see my own vessel. At that time I was stationary.

ALSO I noted that some of the boats show their destination. How can I enter that info when I take a trip?

Your system is functioning properly. The equipment is not designed to display your vessel as an AIS target ... only other vessel reporting AIS data will be displayed. Like most Class B AIS transceivers, the AIS700, as well as the AIS650 and AIS500 Class B AIS transceivers which preceded the AIS700, is not designed to be programmed with your vessel's destination data. Such data is included within the transmissions of Class A AIS transceivers such as the AIS950.
