Alaskan Sea-Duction,
The command sequence MENU->SET-UP->DIAGNOSTICS->ABOUT DISPLAY when executed on the p70 may be used to display the version of software which is currently in the autopilot control head ... v3.08 is the latest version for this autopilot control head. |

Thanks Chucks.
Performed task as you stated. I have v3.07. I then went to my eS 127 and performed an "Check Online for Updated." It went online and checked. I then get a window that states "No software updates available for your current products" Now what? 1988 Camargue Yacht Fisher Tom and Kay |

RE: [CA11] P70 Software Date via eS 127
Alaskan Sea-Duction,
Should a system feature more than one MFD, then remote updates to devices on the system's SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 network must be performed via the system's Data Master MFD. Should you have executed the Check for Updates via WiFi command on the system's Data Master MFD, then I would alternatively recommend downloading the ray_Pilots-Web.upgrade.iso from the Software for Raymarine Evolution Autopilot Control Heads web page (click on the "DOWNLOAD" button) and then copy this file to the root level directory of a microSD memory card. After doing so, place the microSD memory card containing the ray_Pilots-Web.upgrade.iso into the MFD's memory card reader and then command the MFD to check the microSD memory card for updates (HOME->SET-UP->MAINTENANCE->CHECK CARD FOR UPDATES). The MFD should detect that new software is available for the p70 autopilot control head and then permit you to update it. |

RE: [CA11] P70 Software Date via eS 127
I do have 2 MFDs. One is a C97 and the other a eS127 which is the Master. I wonder if I do not turn on the C97 would that matter?
Thanks for your help Chuck! ASD 1988 Camargue Yacht Fisher Tom and Kay |

RE: [CA11] P70 Software Date via eS 127
Alaskan Sea-Duction,
If the eS127 MFD has been designated as the system's Data Master MFD and has been interfaced as a spur to the SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 backbone to which the Evolution autopilot components have also been interfaced as spurs, then it would not matter whether any of the system's other MFDs were ON or OFF. |
