[CA11] M232 vs T series
I am looking at getting a thermal camera. I wondered if someone could explain the difference/advantages between the new Flir M232 and the refurbished ray marine cameras that are available, the T350 9 Hz, T453 25Hz and T456 30Hz?

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum plockie,
What, if any, make/model of MFD are you seeking to interface the marine thermal camera to? |

Chuck
I have the same question on the M232 and the refurbished T cameras on the raymarine site. The MFD to interface with would be the Axiom Pro RVX Thanks Chet Free Fallin’ 2008 Beneteau 49 |

RE: [CA11] M232 vs T series
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Chet,
There are a number models of T-Series Thermal Cameras. Their specifications / features may be found here. The specifications for the FLIR M232 Thermal Camera may be found here. The M232 thermal camera is an excellent option for those seeking an entry level pan and tilt thermal camera for their system. One feature which distinguishes the M232 from other FLIR thermal cameras is that when used with an Axiom/Axiom Pro/Axiom XL MFD, the MFD will support FLIR's ClearCruiseâ„¢ intelligent thermal analytics. |
