Can AR200 Replace EV-1

Fitting AR200 to a boat that already has an EV-1 and acu-100.
is it possible to remove the EV-1 from the system and let the autopilot use heading data from the AR200?

Hello CME,

All of the logic circuitry is in the EV-1 for the Autopilot. It does have to remain in a system for the Autopilot to function correctly. The AR200 does not have the ability to replace it.
