Ev100 setup
Should a on/off switch be on the ACU100 power supply with a 10A in line fuse? Sea Talk backbone power supply requires a 5A in line fuse?

RE: Ev100 setup
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum cddcdccm,
It is indeed recommended that the ACU-100 be powered from a switched 12VDC power circuit which is protected with a 10A fuse. Should the supplying circuit pass through a breaker panel or switched fuse panel, then these items will effectively function to switch power ON/OFF to the ACU-100. |

RE: Ev100 setup
Thanks for the reply. I set it up with a switch and inline fuse today. Do I need to run a wire for the RF ground to the negative bus bar? I don't have a ground on my boat.

RE: Ev100 setup
Yes, On vessels without an RF ground system the drain conductor (screen)
should be connected directly to the negative battery terminal. |
