Cable to update software

I am getting ready to update my autopilot with the r4 update how do I get the update from my computer to the raymarine system? Is there a cable to connect the computer to somewhere on the raymarine system or do I put the update on a Micro SD card and run it through the MFD?

Hello Dawgs19,
I responded to your V17.45 update question on the MFD earlier not knowing this post was here, the update for the R4 Pilot Software is actually included in the V17.45 MFD update.
Note: The included R4 pilot software requires recalibration of the autopilot once complete.
Uncheck during the MFD software installation if you are not prepared to recalibrate your pilot at this time.
You simply transfer the 26 individual files from the computer to a Micro SD card with a storage capacity of 2 GB up to 32 GB and then insert it into the MFD and power on the MFD.
