Connecting CP200 to my mfd
I assume I go from the CP200 to my mfd with a raynet to raynet cable? Or do I link it in on my nmea 2000 network using a raynet to seatalk and then to nmea?

RE: Power cable
riverrat42701,
The CP200 and a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs both feature Ethernet communications interfaces to support communications between these two devices. Accordingly, the CP200 would be interfaced to the Ethernet NETWORK socket of the a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFD or HS5 RayNet Network Switch (should one be installed onboard) via an appropriate length of RayNet (F) to RayNet (F) Cable. |

RE: Connecting CP200 to my mfd
Thank you for the response Chuck. One more question, can I link My es98 to my a65 using that same type cable? Will I be able to view the sonar data that is hooked into the es98 on my a65 with the raynet Ethernet connection?
Thank you |

RE: Connecting CP200 to my mfd
riverrat42701,
Q1: Can I link My es98 to my a65 using that same type cable? A1: Yes. As with the CP200, the a65 MFD would be interfaced to the remaining Ethernet NETWORK socket of the eS98 MFD or to a HS5 RayNet Network Switch (should one be installed onboard) that the eS98 MFD has been interfaced via an appropriate length of RayNet (F) to RayNet (F) Cable. Q2: Will I be able to view the sonar data that is hooked into the es98 on my a65 with the raynet Ethernet connection? A2: Yes |
