[CA11] Rs125 cabling
In what way can I use/convert my rs125 gps cable (mounts on buggy top of tower) to a RS150? Can I use an rs150 on an E120 classic and if so how would it interface. Thanks

RE: [CA11] Rs125 cabling
Welcome back to the Raymarine Forum Never II Nauti,

Q. In what way can I use/convert my rs125 gps cable to a RS150?
A. Unfortunately, the Raystar 125 GPS Sensor's Cable cannot be adapted/used to instead interface a NMEA 2000 device to the system. The SeaTalkng Spur Cable supplied with the Raystar 150 GPS Sensor (or a shorter Spur Cable) must be used to interface the Raystar 150 GPS Sensor to a spur socket within system's powered and properly terminated SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 backbone to which your system's Axiom Pro MFD will also be interfaced as a spur.

Chuck

Can you tell me how the RS125 would be wired into an E120? I am unable to figure out the wiring set currently. I believe it must be thru the NMEA 0183 plug or the SeaTalk/alarm plug as the seatalk 2 and seatalk hs were not used for it. Thanks
