[CA11] Autopilot Too Fast
Hello,

We have replaced all of our old Simrad electronics on board our Hallberg-Rassy 53 sailing boat with new Raymarine.

We have a Raymarine EV-1 autopilot and ACU400 power pack driving a type 3 hydraulic pump over a pair of hydraulic rams.

The hard over to hard over time is much too fast at approximately 6 seconds. We would prefer a hardover time between 12-14 seconds.

The old autopilot control head from third party autopilot allowed us to adjust the speed of the autopilot.

Is there a way to reduce the speed of the new autopilot?

Thank you.

RE: [CA11] Autopilot Too Fast
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum flippercarson,

The autopilot's calibration settings include a configuration setting (MENU->SET-UP->AUTOPILOT CALIBRATION->DRIVE SETTINGS->HARD OVER TIME) intended to be configured to match your drive units actual hard over time. Please verify that this setting has been configured to match your drive unit's observed hard over time. Should you desire to slow slow hard over time further this, this value may be further reduced.
