RE: [CA11] Lighthouse II Software
Ray,

Q. Is it possible to downgrade from Lighthouse II v 19.03 to an older software version?
A. Yes. However, this would be generally not be recommended, as software updates include feature corrections, which will be lost through downgrades. Support is only offered for the latest product software. LHII v19.03 was the latest, best, and final release of LHII software. This version of LHII software has proven to be extremely reliable and feature packed for the a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFD owners using it with their systems. The only lingering stability issue with this version of software involved the Sonar Logging feature, which may easily be disabled when not requiring it. The communications issue which you had inquired about in your other thread is in no way related to this software version ... unless perhaps both MFDs had not been updated with this software version. If all MFDs are operating with the LHII v19.03 software, have been interfaced to wone another via Ethernet (SeaTalkhs / RayNet) communications, and should one of the MFDs be communicating with the system's compatible Ethernet devices while the other is not, then it would indicate a problem with one or more of the following:

- the Ethernet communications circuitry one or both MFDs

- the Ethernet network networking components linking the MFDs to one another (ex. RayNet Cables or network switch).

Should you attach a diagram of your system listing each device and how they have been interfaced to the system to this thread, then we may be able to provide further fault isolation recommendations.
