[CA11] "No transducer connected."
Am receiving message "No transducer connected." "Connect a transducer and restart the unit." Have disconnected/reconnected and checked cables. Get same result with xducer connected to either of two Axiom 9 RV MFDs. Settings\Network\Data Sources\ indicates "Searching for devices that provide Depth" and "Searching for devices that provide Speed through water" finds transducer, regardless of which MFD it is connected to. Worked properly since installation over a year ago. Just recently updated to 3.11.42. Xducer is B744V/A66091 with adapter cable. All networked software up to date except ACU400 at 2.23.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

RE: [CA11] "No transducer connected."
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum fidlerjim,

Q. Just recently updated to 3.11.42. Xducer is B744V/A66091 with adapter cable. All networked software up to date except ACU400 at 2.23. Any suggestions?
A. Please ensure that a Power On Reset Procedure has been performed following the software update, and that the system's settings have then been manually reconfigured rather than restored from a saved settings file. After configuring the basic settings (don't worry about the Data Sources feature for now), open the Fishfinder app and verify that the app has detected that a transducer has been connected. If so, then the Fishfinder app's Menu will provide fishfinder channel options corresponding to the type of fishfinder transducer which has been interfaced to the system. If so, then choose any option other than SideVision. Does the MFD now present the appropriate option for a Depth within the Data Sources feature?

RE: [CA11] "No transducer connected."
The reset fixed the transducer problem.

Is it a regular and necessary procedure to to a Power on Reset procedure every time the Lighthouse software is updated? Is there a similar requirement when updating software in other networked equipment such as AP, radar antenna, etc?

Thanks

RE: [CA11] "No transducer connected."
fidlerjim,

It was never intended that the specified reset be performed following every MFD software update. However, there were some issues associated with earlier software updates leaving behind remnants of corrupted settings. It is hoped that this should not be necessary with the introduction of the LH3 v3.12.x software update ... however, time will tell. Any software update to an Evolution autopilot should be followed by the actions specified within the FAQ found here. Should any odd behaviors be observed with a networked fishfinder sonar module, then a Sonar Reset should be commanded from within the menu of the Fishfinder application.
