No Depth reading e7d and Airmar P58
Hope this is the right forum to get some help with my Raymarine e7d and Airmar P58 Transducer.

Details:
e7D software is up to date- unit is 7 years old.
Airmar P58 Transducer- new
All depth/fishfinder settings are in Auto.

Set up has always worked fine. Boat yard broke my Transducer hauling it out in the fall and replaced it this spring before launching. Put the boat in the other day and it worked fine for the first day. The following day I got the boat up to speed and lost depth reading. Depth has never come back Temp and Speed still work. (see pictures). I have tried to shut off the unit, unplug transducer cable, plug back in and then turn the unit back on- no dice.

Wondering if this is an interference issue? or if the Transducer is shot? The Transducer is new and the exact same model as the one that had always been on the boat- mounted in the same position.

Hoping someone can tell what is wrong by the pictures. I'm going to have a heck of a time getting someone to look at it as it is boat launch season here in NH.

Several pictures of the screens as well as the cables- Thinking maybe it is interference for the cable being wound with other cables?

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!

RE: No Depth reading e7d and Airmar P58
Hello MB19565,

The following would be recommended given the reported symptoms:
- inspect the transducer for signs of fouling and remove an fouling found
- if the transducer is a transom mounted transducer, ensure that the transducer's kick-up bracket has not been triggered. The transducer should be locked into its down position.
- inspect the transducer for signs of damage ... replace or test with another transducer for isolate the sonar fault
- a Sounder Reset should be commanded from the MFD's Fishfinder menu.
- System Settings and Data Reset should be commanded from the MFD's Diagnostics menu. Any waypoint/route/track data of value should be backed up prior to performing this action to permit them to be imported back into the MFD's memory after having performed the reset.
- the Transducer selection menu option should be exercised within the Transducer Settings menu of the MFD's Fishfinder application. The model of transducer installed onboard may be verified per the FAQ found here. https://forum.raymarine.com/showthread.php?tid=794

- should the MFD be reporting the symptoms specified, then it would be recommended that the MFD be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked
