[TG11] Auto with Compass Course No longer shown
I have a problem with the Evolution EV-1 System.
We are on a circumnavigation in a Farrier F36/39 presently in New Zealand
I have all Raymarine instruments.
My control head used to have three options: TRACK, WIND, and I think it was AUTO ?
I now only have WIND and TRQACK as my options.
I want to steer to a Compass Course like we used to do.
We have
Raymarine p70 Auto Pilot Control Head 0930148; EV-1 Course Computer 0631006; Tiller Actuator Unit
two (2) ST70 Instruments 0550287, 0750277 ; 170s Display 1262429; ??? 017464; iTC-5 0371188; ACU100 090301; I also have an Axiom 7 but its t5urned off.
Every thing was updated by a Raymarine technition in January thru the Axiom 7 as a global update to everything on the Buss.

Yesterday we tried to use the autopilot after being in lockdown for 50 days and I could no longer steer to a course because there is no input to do it.
Anicdoataly...I am also used to having the p70 in Standby and being able to adjust the length of the tiller actuator by pressing the + and - keys to move it.

RE: [TG11] Auto with Compass Course No longer shown
Hello 2flit,

Auto is the fundamental function of the pilot that Vane and Track are built on, and can't be removed, so I think I am misunderstanding what's going on.
  • What is shown on the pilot display?
  • Do Track and Vane modes work?
  • What happens if you push the Auto key on the p70?

Raymarine since 1999.

Please don't PM me asking for direct support, please ask a public question instead so that others can see the question and answer. Forum posts will always be answered before PM requests.
