es127 Connection to WiFi
Good Morning,

I have read some of the previous posts regarding connection problems and the responses by Chuck. However, I think my unit is acting differently.

I tried to connect the es127 to WiFi, it finds many WiFi connections at the marina, however it seems to be stuck on the following...

SSID: 1X001X001X001X001X001X001X001X001X001X001X00
Status: Connecting
Signal strength: Strong
Security: None
Channel:6

I have a e125 MFD, DST800, i70, P70R, RCU-3, RDL235, ST1-STNG in the network.

I need to get passed the above device to try and connect but can't get passed this connection.

Can you provide some direction please and thank you...

Regards
Barry

RE: es127 Connection to WiFi
Hi Barry,
First and foremost are both the eS127 and the e125 running the same software version?
From the home screen, setup--->maintenance--->diagnostics--->select device

The both need to be on the same software version and should be above version 15.XX
Secondly, Only 1 MFD on the same SeaTalkhs network can be
connected to an access point at a time, all networked
MFDs will share this connection.

Additionally, when the MFD’s Wi-Fi is enabled it will automatically
connect to previously accessed Access points /mobile hotspots within range.

RE: es127 Connection to WiFi
Yes they are all running 17.45. Turns our the e125 was connected to the es127 Wifi, hence the strange address. I redirected the e125 to my iPhone and it now connects fine. I will do the same for the es127 this evening...

Thank you

Barry
