SPX30 AP SeatalkNG to Seatalk1 Conversion
Will the X30 course computer convert STNG depth data from an eS128 to Seatalk1 for use by an ST60 Tridata configured as a repeater?

RE: SPX30 AP SeatalkNG to Seatalk1 Conversion
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum baja [censored],

Raymarine's X-Series Autopilot Course Computers are not designed function as
- SeaTalk to SeaTalkng Data bridges
- NMEA 0183 to SeaTalk Data bridges
- NMEA 0183 to SeaTalkng Data bridges

Accordingly, should you need to bridge data from SeaTalk to SeaTalkng, then a SeaTalk to SeaTalkng Converter should be installed within the SeaTalkng backbone to which the X-Series Autopilot Course Computer and ST70 Autopilot Control Head have each been interfaced as spurs. Any SeaTalk cable which have been previously interfaced to the autopilot course computer's SeaTalk port should be disconnected from that port, as all communications with the legacy SeaTalk devices will instead be supported via the SeaTalk to SeaTalkng Converter. Finally, care must be taken to ensure that the X-Series Autopilot Course Computer and ST70 Autopilot Control Head have been updated with the latest available Raymarine product software updates.
