Replancing Raypilot 650
I would like to replace my Raypilot 650 and conect the replacement to my existing Raymarine es78. What would be my best option?
Thank you

RE: Replancing Raypilot 650
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum kband,

The RayPilot 650 is an autopilot control head ... one of five primary components of an autopilot system (Control Head, Course Computer / Actuator Control Unit, Heading Sensor (ex. fluxgate compass), Rudder Reference Transducer, and Actuator (also referred to as a drive unit (linear, hydraulic, hydraulic linear, mechanical linear, mechanical rotary, wheel, etc.). In order to properly specify a replacement autopilot, it would be necessary to know the model of actuator which is presently interfaced to your autopilot's Course Computer / Actuator Control Unit. Please respond with this information.
