RE: upgrade c120
Welcome to the Raymarine Technical Forum Sallysea,

Please note that Raymarine does not offer an e128 MFD, but does offer eS127 and eS128 MFDs. These MFDs feature a single Transducer socket.

Please note that it is possible to simultaneously support and simultaneously display 50/200 KHz ClearPulse (conical) sonar imagery and CHIRP (conical) sonar / DownVision sonar imagery. There are a number of approaches to go about doing so depending upon whether the currently installed fishfinder transducer is a 600W transducer or a 1kW transducer. Should you not know whether a 600W transducer or a 1kW transducer is installed onboard and respond with the information printed on the tag affixed to the plug end of the transducer's cable.

If a 1kW transducer is presently installed onboard, then one of the following options would be recommended:
- install an eS128 MFD w/CHIRP/DownVision Transducer and a CP370 ClearPulse Sounder Module (to be interfaced to the currently installed 1kW transducer).
- install an eS125 MFD, CP100 CHIRP/DownVision Sounder Module w/CHIRP/DownVision Transducer and a CP370 ClearPulse Sounder Module (to be interfaced to the currently installed 1kW transducer), and HS5 RayNet Network Switch ... this option limits the number of cables which have to be routed to the MFD by serving as an Ethernet hub for the system.

If a 600W transducer is presently installed onboard, then one of the following options would be recommended:
- install an eS127 MFD (to be interfaced to the currently installed 600W transducer) and CP100 CHIRP/DownVision Sounder Module w/CHIRP/DownVision Transducer.
- install an eS125 MFD, CP100 CHIRP/DownVision Sounder Module w/CHIRP/DownVision Transducer and a CP370 ClearPulse Sounder Module (to be interfaced to the currently installed 600W transducer), and HS5 RayNet Network Switch ... this option limits the number of cables which have to be routed to the MFD by serving as an Ethernet hub for the system.
