Autopilot
ST7001, the rudder indicator sometimes jumps and indicates a hard turn starboard or port and sometimes it seems to read correctly. I found a splice connection that had 3 colored wire connections and 1 bare copper wire connection. I re-spliced all of the connections and it seems to indicate rudder position correctly yet at times when I turn the wheel sometimes it might indicate erratically and then correctly. I'm assuming I should replace the rotary rudder position sensor and if so what is the part number? I attached a picture of the old rudder sensor.

RE: Autopilot
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Cdkl,

The symptoms reported are indicative of a failing rudder reference transducer. It is recommended that the rudder reference transducer be replaced accordingly.
