Testing the microSD card reader slot(s) of an a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFD

Raymarine's MFDs are compatible with microSD memory cards having memory capacities up to 32GB. To test the microSD card reader slot(s) of an a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFD, configure the MFD to save screen images to the desired slot (HOME->CUSTOMIZE->DISPLAY PREFERENCES->SCREENSHOT FILE) and then command the MFD to capture its screen image to a micoSD memory card (POWER->SCREEN CAPTURE). Should the MFD fail to be able to save a screen image file (*.png) onto the microSD memory card, then it will report the failure to the user. Should the MFD feature more than on microSD memory card reader slot, then both of its reader slots should be tested using the procedure specified above. Should such a failure be reported, then the MFD should be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced. Should the MFD not report a failure during the screen captures, the MFD's memory card reader would be deemed to be operational.
