Adapter Cable Updating to Quantum from Old Pathfinder
Hi,

I'm updating an old Raytheon Pathfinder radar to the new Quantum radar. Will your Power/Data Adapter Cable A80308 work from the existing Pathfinder cable? Would I need one of these at the dome and one at the MFD? If not, is there another adapter that will work for me?

Thanks, Hube

RE: Adapter Cable Updating to Quantum from Old Pathfinder
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Hube,

Adapter cables designed for Quantum radomes are exclusively designed to be used with Digital Radar Cables. Digital Radar Cables were designed for use with the following radomes and radar pedestals:
- RD418D, RD424D
- RD418HD, RD424HD
- 4kW HD Open Array Pedestal
- 4kW Super HD Open Array Pedestal
- 12kW HD Open Array Pedestal
- 12kW Super HD Open Array Pedestal

If seeking to use a Pathfinder Series Radar Cable to power a Quantum radome, then the power and RF drain leads of the Pathfinder Series Radar Cable would need to be spliced to the power and RF drain leads of the Quantum Power Cable.
