RD218 Radome scanner/ aSeries
Hello! I have Radome Scanner RD218, C70 and C80 multifunction displays. I would like to buy a new multifunction display aSeries. RD218 is compatible?
Thank you
Sergio

RE: RD218 Radome scanner/ aSeries
Welcome to the Raymarine Technical Forum Sergio,

Please note that the C-Series Classic MFDs are not designed to share cartography, radar imagery, fishfinder imagery, Satellite Weather, or Satellite Radio control with other MFDs (including other C-Series Classic MFDs). Radar scanners featuring analog video interfaces which are compatible with C-Series Classic MFDs (ex. RD218, RD424 and –S versions of the 2D, 4D, 5S, 7S, 9S, and 11S radomes and open array pedestals) are not compatible with the new a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs. Analog radar scanners are most easily identified by their white radar cables.

To view more information concerning equipment required to support the radar features of and a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFD and information concerning replacement of a C-Series Classic MFD with an a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFD, click here.
