i60 wind and Seatalkng pgn
I have this instrument on my seatalkng network, which also has a i50 tridata.
I am able to display apparent and true wind information on the i60 instrument, but I cannot see true wind on my chart-plotting software which is connected to the seatalkng network via a NGW-1 Actisense adapter. Can you verify that the i60 puts out apparent AND true wind information to the seatalkng network?
Thanks

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum GWB,

True Wind supporting Raymarine products are each designed to individually calculate True Wind. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing addressing the required data elements. From the data capture below, you can see that the MFD is transmitting apparent wind. The receiving device(s) would then be required to calculate True Wind from these same data items.
