Gauge illumination
Hi. We have ST60 sailboat gauge set. Depth, Speed, and Wind. I know how to change the illumination intensity by holding down disp button for 1-2 seconds. Then stepping through the 3 different levels of illumination as well as off function. My issue is that the wind gauge never is as bright as the other two gauges. They are side by side so it is very easy to see the illumination difference. Is there a way to turn up the brightness or replace the lamp devices on the wind gauge?

RE: Gauge illumination
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Hope,

Within a properly functioning set of ST60 Instrument Displays, should the display be interfaced to one another via a SeaTalk bus, then the backlight level of the displays should be synchronized with one another. That said, the ST60 Graphic utilized a different backlighting circuit than the other ST60 instruments and would normally appear to be somewhat less brightly illuminated than other ST60 instruments operating at the same backlight level. Should the ST60 Wind's backlight level appear to be lower than other ST60 instruments within the same SeaTalk bus, then it would indicate that the instrument's backlight circuit has begun to degrade. Unfortunately, parts and service are no longer available for ST60 instruments.
