RE: Axiom 9 MFD to NMEA0183 VHF radio
Completed the GPS connection from my Axiom 9 to my VHF radio NMEA 183 port via the ST1->STng converter using the full 30 foot length of the RS125 cable. This configuration works flawlessly! My icom MC-422 VHF is from '08 (came with the boat) and supports parsing of NMEA 0183 V2.0 or 3.01 RMC, GGA, GNS and GLL on the 0183 input. The v2.03 software in the ST1->STng converter covers it and works as advertised. Chuck, my sincere thanks for posting that interface FAQ. It's a gem of information and my wife/Admiral is quite happy with the safety improvement.
Dan

RE: Axiom 9 MFD to NMEA0183 VHF radio
What is the P/N of the spur cable between the Axiom 9 and the convertor? The A06075 was referenced but that only has five pins, the Axiom 9 requires 10. Thanks

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Steve,

Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject. You appear to be looking at the incorrect socket.
Please note that the Axiom MFD's NMEA 2000 plug is found on the end of its Power/NMEA 2000 Cable. This NMEA 2000 plug features a 5-pin male connector and would be adapted to be mated to a SeaTalkng Spur socket using either of the adapters which have been specified within the referenced FAQ.

Thanks much. I was thinking it had to go into the Network Plug
